Cubbie was my beloved companion of 14 years. She was a Chow mix my dad found abandoned in his scrap yard. The day he brought her home, she was cold, scared and full of dirt, ticks and sticker burrs. Even though she was a mess from her head to her curly tail, she was adorable. Over the years, from teenager to adult, Cubbie brought me so much joy, love and companionship. In her last years, I cared for her to the best of my ability. Unfortunately, arthritis took her from me. I miss Cubbie very much and think of her often. In memory of my much loved four legged family member, I decided to do the one thing I enjoy most....care for animals.
